- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Take the design “brief” to record requirements and team needs
- Prepare drafts and present the ideas to different stakeholders
- Design different products and packaging
- performs other duties as assigned regarding Graphic designing
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Alexandria residents only
